1) Ship us your holds
Use our handy poster to get an idea of cost. Then, get your holds clean (power-wash is fine), pop them in a box and get them on the road to us in Colorado. We’ll help you find shipping if you need!
2) We’ll work our magic
We’ll lovingly repair any chips, dents and jib-holes in your holds, then coat with our beautiful texture. When we’re done, we’ll get them packed up and shipped back to you.
3) You get back to setting
You’ll receive your Retex-ed holds, ready for a new life on the wall. All you have to do now is set incredible routes with them (and figure out what new holds to buy with all that money you saved)

Climbing on polished holds sucks. Let us take your old, faded and slippery holds and make your climbers smile with them. We repair chips and jib holes before applying a fresh texture to your old holds. Hundreds of hours of R&D have gone into creating a texturing formula that can stand up to the wear of a modern gym, looks fantastic and bonds superbly to the hold.

New holds are expensive, but to keep your gym a great place to climb the only option up to now has been to replace your worn out holds with brand new. With Retex, you save between 50-70% compared to the cost of replacing and can put those savings towards improving your hold selection.

Climbing gyms in the US have millions of holds on the wall today, and right now they’re a on a one way trip to landfill. Most climbing holds cannot be recycled, and are destined to be thrown away. At Retex we hope to break that cycle, and keep those thermoset resins out of the ground and keeping climbers happy.

Need more holds in your white circuit but have too many in black? Want to move your favorite holds to a new circuit? We can change the color of your holds while we add a new texture, multiplying your options
Size up your holds
We price retexturing based on the size of the base of the hold. Just place your hold in the centre of our sizing poster, note down the number of holds of each size and send us the details. We’ll get back to you with a price and next steps.

We’re working hard to get ReTex off the ground, and so we only have a limited range of colors available at this time and will be adding more soon. If you’d like to match a color, please get in touch and we’ll work with you to find an option.
